It may seem unusual to spend a large amount of time exploring symptoms with your provider, but this is our standard practice.

Payment:
Payment is collected at time of service. At our office we do not bill insurance companies, because we do not work for them, we work for you. You are given a receipt with office/medical codes that you may submit to your health insurance for reimbursement.
Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare do not allow submission and reimbursement from non-preferred providers. We are considered non-preferred provides for all insurances.
Health insurance is actually disease insurance and will not cover some forms of preventative medicine.
In a way, it is a good thing. We are able to focus our program entirely on you and without consideration of third parties. We are able to maintain complete confidentiality and are not constrained by limits set to maximize insurance company profits. We are working for you, not them.
Your Appointment:
Your initial consultation is 1 hour ~$200 on average, it could range from $150 to $350; if the medical complexity warrants more time and medical evaluation. You will be required to complete comprehensive patient questionnaire at your first visit. If you have prior lab results or pertinent medical records that were done within the past 12 months, please bring them with you to your appointment. Please bring all supplements and medications with you.
Your insurance will cover the necessary blood laboratory testing , which is done locally at Interpath Lab. If needed, a 24 hour urine hormone test kit will be provided (with directions) to obtain a sample in the comfort of your home. The kit will be mailed by you to Meridian Valley Lab. We will receive the urine test results in 3 weeks.
Your follow-up appointment, usually 30-45 minutes at ~$79-$125, will be schedule in our office. This appointment typically occurs 4 weeks following your initial appointment. The follow-up visit includes a review of the results and formation of a treatment plan based on your symptoms and laboratory results. If needed, specific Bio-identical Hormones will be prescribed. Pharmaceutical grade supplements can be purchases at our office.
Most of our patients notice symptom relief 2-4 weeks after their treatment begins. However if symptoms are severe or have been present for a long period, it may take 1-2 months to see results. Your next follow-up visit is generally 1-2 months after your treatment begins, sooner if you would like. These visits are scheduled for 30 minutes.
Thereafter, we like to see our patients every 3-6 months for refills on your Bio-identical Hormone prescriptions and any adjustments that may be needed to your regime.
